Katherine "Kat" Massey, a 72-year-old resident of Buffalo, New York, tragically lost her life on May 14, 2022, in a mass shooting at a Tops Friendly Market in a predominantly Black neighborhood of Buffalo. Massey was among ten Black individuals who were killed in this racially motivated attack.
