In the early morning hours of June 20, 2022, the city of Lackawanna, a suburb of Buffalo, New York, was rattled by a sudden act of violence that claimed the life of 34-year-old Andre E. Jones. Jones, a resident of Lackawanna, was sitting alone in his parked pickup truck on Olcott Street when the fatal encounter occurred. He had only been in the vehicle for about five minutes when two unidentified men approached.
