In the early morning hours of August 27, 2022, a tragic event unfolded in the Concourse Village section of the Bronx that claimed the life of 37-year-old Maria Rosado. Rosado, a mother of three from Yonkers, was seated in the driver's seat of a parked car near the intersection of East 170th Street and College Avenue when gunfire erupted. She was struck in the head and was later pronounced dead at St. Barnabas Hospital.
