Death by Force

On September 9, 2024, 15-year-old Mario Fertini III was tragically found dead from multiple gunshot wounds near Bear Creek and Brookside Drives in Merced, California. Neighbors reported hearing gunshots around 2 a.m., but it wasn't until approximately 6 a.m. that authorities discovered his body. Mario and his mother had relocated to Merced about nine months prior. Family members remember him as a joyful and loving individual who had recently begun his freshman year of high school.
