On April 2, 2017, Vincent Jordan, age 39, was shot and killed in New Orleans, Louisiana. The homicide took place in the Seventh District, an area that has experienced significant gun violence over the years. New Orleans police responded to reports of gunfire and found Jordan suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Despite the rapid response of emergency services, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
