Vincent J. Adolfo, a 24-year-old police officer with the Baltimore City Police Department, tragically lost his life on November 18, 1985, while attempting to arrest a suspect involved in a stolen vehicle incident. On that fateful day, Officer Adolfo was on duty in the Eastern District when he identified a stolen vehicle and initiated a pursuit.
