On February 21, 1992, 47-year-old Sheraton Nathaniel McElwee Jr. was shot in the 1300 block of Homewood Avenue in Baltimore, Maryland. Despite surviving the initial attack, McElwee endured complications from his injuries for over 27 years. Tragically, on March 25, 2019, he succumbed to these long-term effects.
