20 year old male robbed and shot in parking lot
In the early morning hours of May 7, 2017, a life was tragically cut short in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Anaival Ac, a 20-year-old male, was seated in a vehicle in a parking lot located at 760 North Donmoor Avenue when he was targeted in a robbery. The encounter turned violent when an unknown individual shot him before fleeing the scene.
For weeks, Anaival Ac fought for his life. However, on May 30, 2017, he ultimately succumbed to the gunshot wound he sustained during the robbery. His death was a somber conclusion to a violent act that had unfolded weeks earlier.
Authorities with the Baton Rouge Police Department launched an investigation into the deadly shooting. They described the person who fled the scene as a light-skinned black male with a slim build. At the time of the initial reports, the suspect was still at large, having last been seen running from the area of the crime. Law enforcement officials appealed to the public for any information that might lead to an arrest in the case, urging anyone with knowledge of the incident to come forward. There have been no subsequent public announcements regarding arrests or the identification of a suspect in the death of Anaival Ac.
