On August 13, 2008, 38-year-old Leon Albert Maiden Sr. passed away in Landover, Maryland. He was interred at Glenwood Cemetery in Washington, D.C., following funeral services at the Righteous Church of God on August 21, 2008. He is survived by his wife, Dianne Pinkney-Maiden; children, Leon Jr. and Lechelle Maiden, Dovon Jones, and Dyante Battie; parents, Delora Maiden and Charles Hester; sister, Shalika Maiden; nieces, Antonicia Maiden and Jada Jefferson; and nephew, Quondo Lovelace.
