Frederick James Nesloney, a 42-year-old oil field worker, was fatally shot on June 16, 2020, while driving through San Antonio, Texas, on his way to West Texas. Nesloney and his wife were traveling along Loop 1604 when another vehicle pulled up alongside them and fired a single shot into their pickup truck. Nesloney was hit in the head and killed instantly, while his truck, which was towing an RV, crashed into an off-duty police officer's car at a construction zone.
Nesloney's wife was taken to a hospital and treated for her injuries.
