On October 7, 2008, at approximately 12:30 a.m., 22-year-old Anthony Joel Cash III was fatally shot in the 500 block of Nalley Road in Hyattsville, Maryland. Officers responding to the scene discovered three individuals in a vehicle, all suffering from gunshot wounds; two of the victims, including Cash, later succumbed to their injuries.
