On June 16, 2021, Dapo Ojo, a 35-year-old resident of Hyattsville, Maryland, was found dead in Landover, Prince George's County. The tragic incident occurred around 5:10 p.m. when an off-duty police officer discovered Ojo lying in the roadway in the 3300 block of 75th Avenue. Ojo had suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.
