Dominique Anton Gordon, a 26-year-old man, was killed on March 27, 2009, in Prince George’s County, Maryland, after being shot in the upper body. The death was reported in connection with a late-night incident in the 8100 block of Allendale Drive and the circumstances were described as drug related.
In the wake of the shooting, investigators moved quickly enough that two arrests were publicly tied to the case: Jerrod Malik Peterson and Thomas Freddie Hughes.
Peterson was listed with a residence in the 8100 block of Allendale Court, while Hughes was listed with a residence in the 3500 block of Hubbard Land.
Although the incident was associated with Prince George’s County, Gordon himself was also listed as living in Washington, D.C., on Queen Street NE underscoring how violence in one neighborhood can reach across nearby communities and leave grief in more than one place.
