The Lanham, Maryland resident was rushed to a local hospital, but his injuries proved to be fatal, and he was pronounced deceased. Investigators began the difficult task of piecing together the events that led to the shooting. From the outset, the case proved to be challenging, with no suspects immediately identified and no clear motive for the homicide. Law enforcement and Crime Solvers issued appeals to the public for any information that could lead to an arrest, offering a cash reward for tips that would help them solve the crime.
