Wesley Washington John Brown, a 24-year-old Maryland State Trooper, tragically lost his life on June 11, 2010, in Forestville, Maryland. Trooper Brown was working an off-duty security detail at a restaurant when he was shot and killed at approximately 12:40 am. Earlier in the evening, he had escorted a patron out of the restaurant for refusing to pay a bill. While standing in the parking lot and talking on his cellphone, the same patron returned and fatally shot him without warning.
