In the summer of 2010, the life of a three-year-old girl named Shayla Shante Sikyala was tragically cut short in a horrifying act of violence. On August 6th, she was found deceased in a makeshift apartment above a detached garage in a residential area of Lanham, Maryland. Shayla, a young female, was not the sole victim of this brutal crime.
