In the late summer of 2017, the life of 33-year-old Eric Cole was tragically cut short on the streets of New Orleans. On the evening of Wednesday, August 9, 2017, Cole was shot and killed in the Algiers neighborhood, a community across the Mississippi River from the French Quarter.
