Anthony Ray Washington, a 27-year-old African-American male, was fatally shot on the evening of November 1, 2011, in Forestville, Maryland. The incident occurred in the parking lot of a shopping center located on Walters Lane. When police responded to reports of a shooting at approximately 8:00 p.m., they discovered Mr. Washington suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
