Marcus Antonio Jones, a 16-year-old from Camp Springs, MD, tragically lost his life on January 20, 2013, in a gang-related shooting. The incident occurred outside a birthday party in Fort Washington, Maryland. Jones, a sophomore at Friendly High School, was shot by Akil Darnell Ings, an 18-year-old from Temple Hills, who was later found guilty of second-degree murder.
