In the quiet neighborhood of Hillcrest Heights, Maryland, a promising young life was tragically cut short over a pair of shoes. Fifteen-year-old Charles Michael Walker Jr., a male student at Suitland High School, was walking near his home on February 18, 2013, when he was brutally attacked.
