Lonnie Bernard Paye Jr., aged 51, was found dead on July 1, 2015, in his home on Travancore Road in Randallstown, Maryland. He had suffered at least one gunshot wound. The investigation revealed that Paye had been involved in a custody dispute with Deidra Veella Griffin, a 40-year-old woman from Michigan, with whom he had a child.
