Anthony Joseph Anastasi Jr., aged 40, was found dead on October 5, 2015, in his home in Lothian, Maryland. The discovery was made after a 911 call reported a possible suicide. Upon arrival, police found Anthony in the master bedroom with a gunshot wound to his upper body and a handgun nearby. However, further investigation revealed that his death was not a suicide but a murder. In the basement of the same house, the body of Jacqueline Irene Riggs, 25, was found with multiple stab wounds.
