On December 21, 2015, Mario Alberto Perez, aged 40, was tragically shot and killed in Damascus, Maryland. The incident occurred at a residence on Ridge Road around 12:30 a.m. According to reports, Montgomery County police and paramedics responded to a call about a shooting and found Perez with a gunshot wound to his torso. Despite their efforts, Perez was pronounced dead at the scene.
