Tony Linton Thornton, a 38-year-old man from Baltimore, Maryland, was fatally shot on August 5, 2016, in what was reported as a double shooting in North Baltimore. Thornton was an innocent bystander in the incident. He was rushed to Johns Hopkins Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries during a surgical procedure.
