In the early evening of September 26, 2016, the life of 21-year-old Gary Tyshawn Bowser, a Black/African American male from Gwynn Oak, Maryland, was tragically cut short. Just after 6 p.m., the sound of gunfire echoed through the 700 block of Westhills Parkway in Woodlawn. Baltimore County Police officers, who were nearby in the 1000 block of Coleridge Court, heard the shots and immediately responded to the scene.
