In the fall of 2016, a tragic series of events that began in Jacksonville, Florida, with the death of a young mother culminated in the discovery of a man's body in a wooded area of Baltimore, Maryland. Norris Rashid Dail Sr., a 26-year-old Black male, was found on October 12, 2016, having died from what authorities determined to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. His death brought an end to a multi-state manhunt that had been initiated weeks earlier.
