On the evening of November 11, 2016, a verbal and physical altercation between two acquaintances in Brandywine, Maryland, escalated into a fatal shooting. The victim was identified as 46-year-old Tyrone Shirriel Jr. of Oxon Hill. The incident occurred at approximately 6:00 pm in the 13600 block of Tower Road.
