On December 17, 2016, TaWanda Lafreshia Blake, a 26-year-old resident of Pocomoke, Maryland, was tragically killed in a shooting incident at the American Legion on Perryhawkin Road in Princess Anne, Maryland. According to reports, Maryland State Police responded to a 911 call just after 1:30 a.m. and found Blake lying in the parking lot with a gunshot wound.
