In the early hours of a Monday morning in the Curtis Bay neighborhood of South Baltimore, the sound of gunfire shattered the pre-dawn quiet. On June 6, 2016, residents on Spruce Street were startled awake by a barrage of between 15 and 20 gunshots. When police responded to the scene shortly before 4 a.m., they discovered a grim scene inside a gold-colored car. Two young men had been shot multiple times.
