On a summer day in Jessup, Maryland, a young man's life was cut tragically short in what was determined to be an unforeseen accident. prepared to leave, one of the firearms was being placed into its case when it unexpectedly discharged. A single gunshot struck Haggerty, inflicting a fatal wound. His friends immediately sought help, and he was rushed to a nearby hospital for emergency medical treatment. Despite the efforts of medical personnel, Wyatt Haggerty succumbed to his injury and was pronounced dead.
