A young woman goes missing and her remains are found 10 years later.
In the fall of 1998, a sense of unease settled over McCreary County, Kentucky, with the disappearance of 15-year-old Crystal Sue Marler. A student at McCreary Central High School, Crystal was of biracial heritage, with both Caucasian and African-American ancestry. On October 12, 1998, her mother dropped her off near a friend's home on Strunk Ridge Road in Whitley City, a seemingly ordinary event that marked the last time she was seen alive.
