Mykia Dyer, a 29-year-old Black female, was a vibrant hairstylist known for her talent and infectious personality. On January 23, 2018, her life was tragically cut short in a brazen daylight shooting in Baltimore, Maryland. Mykia had driven to the 1300 block of Division Street in the Upton neighborhood to pick up her 34-year-old husband, Sean Dyer. After Sean went into a house to change and returned to the car, an unknown assailant ambushed the couple, opening fire and striking them both.
