In a tragic turn of events stemming from a drug deal gone awry, 28-year-old Shameek Davone Joyner was found deceased in a Towson, Maryland apartment on the morning of April 9, 2018. A maintenance worker, entering a fifth-floor apartment on Lambourne Road, discovered the bodies of Joyner and another man, Stanley B. Brunson, Jr., aged 29. Both men had sustained fatal gunshot wounds to their upper bodies in what police described as a targeted attack.
