Sang Yeon Kim, aged 48, tragically died on September 17, 2018, in Silver Spring, Maryland, as a result of a murder-suicide incident. The Montgomery County Police Department responded to a call in the early hours of the morning, where they discovered multiple victims with gunshot wounds at a residence on Amberleigh Drive. The investigation revealed that Sang Yeon Kim was one of the victims, along with her husband, Yong Mun Kim, aged 57, who was identified as the perpetrator.
