Born in Baltimore, Maryland, on July 19, 1984, he was a lifelong resident of the city, deeply rooted in its communities. He received his education in the Baltimore City Public Schools System, obtaining his high school equivalent in 2005.
Known to his loved ones as 'J Reed,' Jerrod was described as very family-oriented and fiercely protective of those he held dear. His path included acquiring a welding certification in 2007 and, more recently, completing life skills training, demonstrating a commitment to personal growth. He was a man who loved sports and, above all, cherished the time spent with his family, often laughing, joking, and partying with his loved ones.
The morning of September 24, 2018, brought a sudden and violent end to Jerrod's life. At approximately 11:39 a.m., in the 1400 block of N. Mount Street in the Sandtown-Winchester neighborhood, gunshots shattered the day's calm. Jerrod was discovered with multiple gunshot wounds.
