In the summer of 2021, a workplace in Niagara Falls, New York, became the scene of a sudden and tragic act of violence. On June 3rd, 36-year-old Patrick M. DeLuca, a male employee at Niagara Metals, was fatally shot. The incident that cut his life short unfolded at the hands of a coworker, Matthew H. Figura. In the aftermath of the shooting, Figura fled the scene, prompting an immediate law enforcement response.
