In the autumn of 2018, the voice of a rising Baltimore rapper who rhymed about the city's pain and advocated for peace was tragically silenced. Dominic Grant, a 24-year-old male known in the music world as Nick Breed, was shot and killed on the evening of Sunday, October 21, 2018. The incident occurred around 7:30 p.m. on Normandy Avenue in Southwest Baltimore.
