Tiron Tydie Dansbury, a 37-year-old Black transgender woman, was tragically shot and killed in Baltimore, Maryland, on November 26, 2018. Her death has been a significant point of mourning and concern within the transgender community and beyond. According to reports, Dansbury was found with gunshot wounds at around 4:15 a.m. on the 2400 block of Guilford Avenue. She was rushed to a local hospital in grave condition but succumbed to her injuries two days later.
