Jennifer Velasquez, a 19-year-old woman, tragically lost her life on May 26, 2019, in Baltimore, Maryland. On that fateful evening, around 8:30 PM, a ShotSpotter alert directed Baltimore police to the 400 block of North Montford Avenue. Upon arrival, officers discovered two shooting victims. Jennifer Velasquez, who had been visiting from New York, was found with a gunshot wound to the head. She was immediately transported to the hospital but, unfortunately, succumbed to her injuries.
