Jawaun Palmer, a 24-year-old Black man, was fatally shot on the night of September 4, 2019, in Baltimore, Maryland. The incident occurred around 11:27 p.m. in the 200 block of Douglas Court, where police responded to a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers found Palmer unresponsive and suffering from gunshot wounds.

Emergency medical services transported Palmer to a nearby hospital, but his injuries proved to be fatal, and he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival. His death was ...
