In the winter of 2020, a young Black man named Taquan Poole was fatally shot in Baltimore, Maryland. The incident that claimed the 23-year-old's life occurred on the evening of Thursday, January 23, 2020. Another individual was also injured in the shooting, which took place in the 3600 block of Brendan Avenue in Northeast Baltimore.
