Alwyn Redd, a 35-year-old African American man, was fatally shot near his home in Oakland, California, on November 25, 2016. The incident occurred at approximately 11:52 a.m. in the 600 block of 23rd Street. Authorities responded to the scene following reports of gunfire and discovered Redd suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite efforts to provide medical assistance, he succumbed to his injuries.
