Aaron James Sutton, affectionately known as "A.J.," was a promising 19-year-old freshman engineering student at Howard University. On May 28, 2020, his life was tragically cut short in a double shooting in the 5600 block of Wayne Avenue in West Baltimore's Howard Park neighborhood. Sutton and another man were found fatally shot inside a vehicle shortly before midnight. The police have not identified the second victim, nor have they disclosed any possible motives or suspects in the shooting.
