On a summer afternoon in Pocomoke City, Maryland, the life of 28-year-old Deavon Davis was tragically cut short. On August 11, 2020, near the basketball courts in the vicinity of Bishop Isaac Jenkins Street and Young Street, Davis was fatally shot. The Pocomoke Police Department received a 911 call for a shooting victim in the 500 block of Bonneville Avenue shortly before 4 p.m. Upon arrival, officers discovered Davis, who had sustained multiple gunshot wounds.
