Lynn Marie Maher, a 49-year-old mother of four, was tragically killed on October 1, 2020, during an armed robbery at the 7-Eleven store where she worked in Waldorf, Maryland. The incident occurred around 1 a.m. when Gregory DeShawn Collins, Jr., a 23-year-old man, entered the store, announced a robbery, and demanded money from Maher. Despite complying with his demands and handing over the money, Collins shot Maher in the head, resulting in her immediate death at the scene.
