On August 20, 2009, Hugo Rodriguez, a 24-year-old male from Houston, Texas, was fatally shot in the 5700 block of Cornish at approximately 12:30 a.m. Houston police officers responded to the scene after observing a black Chevrolet Cobalt swerving and crashing into a ditch in the area. Upon closer inspection, officers discovered Hugo Rodriguez in the driver’s seat of the vehicle, suffering from a gunshot wound to the head. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
