In the early morning hours of November 21, 2009, at approximately 12:30 a.m., a violent incident occurred at the Oasis Lounge located at 7703 Irvington in Houston, Texas. The Houston Police Department initially responded to what was reported as an assault in progress. However, before officers could arrive at the scene, the situation escalated dramatically when gunfire erupted between multiple parties who were involved in the initial assault.
