In the evening hours of September 5, 2021, a burst of gunfire shattered the night in the 4100 block of Patterson Avenue in Baltimore, Maryland, forever altering the lives of one family. When the echo of the shots faded, 27-year-old Silas Davis, a Black male, was found fatally wounded. Police responded to the scene at approximately 9:52 p.m. and discovered Davis suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the location of the shooting.
