In the quiet neighborhood of Pikesville, Maryland, the evening of January 8, 2022, was shattered by an act of violence that claimed the life of 22-year-old Deonte Blick. Just before 8:45 p.m., the sound of gunfire echoed from an apartment on the 4600 block of Horizon Circle, prompting a call to the authorities. When police officers arrived at the scene, they discovered a grim reality. Inside the apartment, they found Deonte Blick suffering from at least one gunshot wound.
