A Black male, Lee was found at approximately 7:18 p.m. in the 2200 block of West Lexington Street, having sustained fatal gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The incident was one of a string of violent acts that had unsettled the city, contributing to a significant increase in homicides compared to the previous year.
